Medical Director of Behavioral Health - Remote

Overview

The Medical Director is an integral member of the Clinical Leadership team responsible for overseeing clinical care and administration of the Psychiatry team, focusing on improving care quality and developing a high-functioning team.

• Oversee clinical care and practice administration of the Psychiatry team.
• Dedicate 10% of time to clinical care and 90% to administrative duties.
• Support day-to-day clinical operations and manage clinician performance.
• Identify opportunities for system-level improvements and efficiencies.
• Manage cross-functional projects to drive results.
• Support strategic relationships with key clients.
• Interview, onboard, and train Psychiatrists.
• Participate in external activities like webinars and conferences.
• Use data to inform decisions and support clinicians.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Psychiatry.

Requirements

• Five years of independent practice as a licensed Psychiatrist.
• Three years of experience managing clinical teams.
• Licensed, board-certified Psychiatrist in good standing.
• Active and unrestricted license in home state.
• Meet all clinical and educational requirements as outlined in the employment agreement.
