Software Engineer, Bakckend - Data Platform - Remote

In Short

• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Design and implement a scalable data platform to support rapidly evolving analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Monitor and enhance data processing performance for efficiency and reliability.
• Develop tools and workflows to validate and maintain data integrity.
• Guide technical decision-making for scalable solutions.
• Foster a diverse engineering culture that is inclusive and innovative.
• Work with product and design teams to create delightful customer experiences.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language like Python, Java, Scala or Go (preferably Python).
• 1+ years of experience in developing data pipelines using Airflow or similar tools.
• 1+ years of experience in system architecture and design focusing on reliability and scalability.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Experience with stream processing (preferably Apache Spark or Apache Flink).
• Experience in building high-scale distributed systems for large data volumes.
• Track record of delivering mission-critical, 24x7 production software systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
