In Short

• Design, build, and improve cloud infrastructure solutions that power our production environment.
• Implement and manage AWS-based infrastructure, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters in production, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate provisioning and management.
• Enhance observability and monitoring for infrastructure health and performance using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Optimize networking solutions, including service meshes (like Istio) to improve service-to-service communication and security.
• Support and enhance database infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver infrastructure improvements aligned with business priorities.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Advocate for best practices in infrastructure design, automation, performance tuning, and security.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• 6+ years managing AWS infrastructure, with deep experience in core AWS services.
• 4+ years of experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform (or other IaC tools).
• Experience managing cloud networking solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in system monitoring and observability.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
