A very busy Orthopaedic practice in the southern suburbs is looking for a candidate who has extensive experience in working within a private medical practice.

In Short

• Manage the entire theatre and booking process.
• Coordinate and manage theatre lists.
• Liaise with patients regarding surgery.
• Attend to patient queries and dictations.
• Perform personal assistant duties.
• Handle reception duties when required.
• Be part of the debtor collection cycle.
• Prepare and circulate cost estimates.
• Ensure proper processes for payments for private patients.
• Work extended hours on busy consulting days.

Requirements

• Extensive experience within a private medical practice or healthcare environment.
• Excellent English acumen both written and verbal.
• Excellent multitasking abilities.
• Prior experience within an orthopaedic practice is an advantage.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Empathetic, kind, and caring disposition.
• Able to work extended hours on busy consulting days.
• Fast and efficient on a computer.
• Hard worker.
