Overview

The Medical Group Patient Access Manager is responsible for enhancing patient access and revenue cycle operations through collaboration, training, and process optimization. This role supports various clinics and departments while ensuring compliance and efficiency in patient access activities.

In Short

• Collaborate with end users and leadership to improve patient access workflows.
• Provide on-site support and training to clinic personnel.
• Monitor and manage patient work queues and claims.
• Implement strategies for denial prevention and revenue enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls.
• Travel weekly to assigned clinics in Las Vegas and surrounding areas.
• Act as a subject matter expert in patient registration and scheduling.
• Participate in committees to achieve operational efficiencies.
• Communicate and model organizational values in all interactions.
• Support new clinic projects and acquisitions.

Requirements

• Experience in a revenue cycle or patient access role.
• Ability to train and develop others.
• Strong knowledge of patient access functions.
• Preferred experience in Patient Access and revenue cycle operations.
• Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field.
• Knowledge of the EPIC system is a plus.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including driving.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload and monitor quality.
• Ongoing need for manual dexterity for computer use.
