Health Informatics Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Clinical and Health Informaticist challenges the status quo of the healthcare experience through the Science of Informatics. This role is responsible for workflow and system analysis and functional design for clinical applications, while supporting the Intermountain Health mission.

In Short

• Perform workflow and system analysis for clinical applications.
• Participate in implementation, training, and process improvement of Health Information Technology (HIT).
• Act as a liaison between business and clinical users and software development teams.
• Utilize informatics principles to support and lead moderately complex projects.

• Demonstrate understanding of clinical systems and workflows.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of workflows in a healthcare system.
• Experience engaging providers and clinicians through communication skills.
• Experience applying informatics fundamentals to impact quality and safety.
• Experience leading Informatics projects.
• Familiarity with EHR vendors like Cerner and Epic.
• Training in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Current state licensure for Registered Nurses or licensed clinical incumbents.
• Ability to communicate effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capable of performing physical tasks related to the role.
