Senior Lender - Remote

Overview

The Senior Lender is responsible for supporting the loan origination process by analyzing applicant financial, project and management capacity and preparing loan recommendations. This role involves working closely with lenders across all IFF sectors and states on loan opportunities to determine long-term fit with IFF mission and credit requirements.

• Primary borrower relationship manager for assigned region’s lending activities.
• Responsible for sourcing, underwriting, seeking approval, and facilitating the closing and monitoring of loans.
• Provide technical assistance on financing and financial systems.
• Lead loan business development efforts to build and maintain a strong loan pipeline.
• Participate in research and development of lending programs and policies.
• Maintain required job knowledge and skills.

• Perform other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business, accounting, or finance.
• Seven years of experience in banking, finance, or real estate finance.
• Demonstrated competence in commercial lending terminology.
• Experience marketing loan products.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Excel.
