Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Leader to join a growing SaaS business in Valsoft’s portfolio. This role is responsible for driving full-cycle sales—from outbound lead generation to engaging senior IT leaders, and ultimately closing high-value deals.

In Short

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan within the first 90 days.
  • Proactively identify and engage potential clients through outbound prospecting.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of opportunities.
  • Engage with senior IT executives to present our SaaS solutions.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, balancing smaller and high-value deals.
  • Effectively negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track pipeline development and sales forecasts.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on market trends.
  • Collaborate with product teams to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of successful software sales experience.
  • Proven experience selling into higher education, government, and healthcare sectors.
  • Established relationships in global English-speaking markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales quotas.
  • Strong expertise in outbound lead generation and consultative selling.
  • Experience managing and closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Ability to travel 25%-30% of time.
  • Based in Canada or the United States.
