Overview

The Product Service Engineer will be responsible for investigating field events and handling non-serviceable reports for GE Vernova’s Aero fleet, involving direct customer interaction and technical analysis.

In Short

  • Perform investigations of field events and document findings.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional investigation teams.
  • Provide detailed work scopes for investigative laboratories.
  • Write and present Root Cause Analysis reports to customers.
  • Support corrective actions and fleet issue resolutions.
  • Coordinate with quality organizations on service issues.
  • Travel to customer sites and repair shops as needed.
  • Maintain a culture of safety within the team.
  • Document procedures and support standard work efforts.
  • Collaborate with product line teams on problem reduction.

Requirements

  • BS degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Technical experience with gas turbine technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate and achieve results.
  • Experience with RCA methodologies preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with technical documents and failure modes.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization.
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
