Senior Financial Management Specialist - Disaster Management - Remote

Overview

ICF’s Disaster Management Division is looking for a Senior Financial Management Specialist with experience in CDBG-DR/ MIT compliance, financial management, or public finance to support financial services. This position is 100% Remote in the United States with ability to travel.

In Short

• Support clients' CDBG-DR/MIT programs through essential financial services.
• Advise clients on CDBG-DR/MIT regulations, requirements, and grant management.
• Create resources for financial policies, award management, compliance, and SOPs.
• Manage data across multiple financial and grant systems with accuracy.
• Assist in preparing required program compliance reports.
• Analyze program performance and recommend improvements.
• Lead creation of internal finance manuals covering accounting, billing, planning, audits, and back-office operations.
• Assist with disaster recovery/data analytics projects alongside ICF experts.
• Help develop project plans, schedules, and required documents to meet client needs.
• Review complex draws for proper documentation and CDBG-DR/MIT compliance.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• 5+ years of financial analyst experience, including 2+ years of CDBG-DR/MIT financial compliance and reporting.
• 3+ years of experience in Grant Accounting, Public Accounting, Budgeting, and/or Forecasting.
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including the use of pivot tables and creation of advanced formulas).
• Willing and able to travel for work as needed with minimal notice.
