Overview

The Electrical Supervision & Commissioning Manager is responsible for overseeing the electrical systems of solar projects, ensuring high-quality implementation and compliance with standards.

• Manage and supervise the construction of electrical systems for solar plants.
• Ensure safe and reliable implementation of electrical works.
• Conduct quality assurance for all electrical installations on-site.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans and coordinate teams.
• Execute testing and commissioning of solar power plants.
• Align with grid operators and utilities for project energization.
• Review electrical drawings before construction.
• Coordinate with designers and grid managers for implementation.
• Monitor compliance with electrical installation codes and standards.
• Oversee electrical subcontractors during design and execution.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of electrical components and regulations.
• Proven experience managing stakeholders.
• Ability to develop comprehensive commissioning plans.
• Hands-on experience in commissioning LV/HV AC and DC circuits.
• Strong understanding of cabling, transformers, inverters, and SCADA systems.
• Experience in managing commissioning documentation.
• HV SAP certification is a plus.
• Mandatory Electrical Construction Certifications for UK PV plants.
• Mandatory HSE certifications for Electrical Manager/Supervisor roles.
