Overview

GE Aerospace is seeking an Instructional Designer responsible for designing learning experiences and creating instructional media to develop employees’ lean behaviors and skills within the FLIGHT DECK operating model.

In Short

  • Design and develop effective learning solutions incorporating adult learning theory.
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts on key initiatives.
  • Evaluate contemporary learning trends and emerging design technologies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and counterparts.
  • Ensure alignment of learning solutions with business outcomes.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in instructional design.
  • Experience with multimedia programs like Articulate and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Applicants must share a professional portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Systems Design, Adult Learning, or Education preferred.
  • Experience in both face-to-face and virtual learning environments.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques.
  • Desire to learn about lean content and culture change.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Master’s Degree and global organization experience are desired.
  • Experience using AI as a learning platform is a plus.
  • Understanding of website design and maintenance.
