Financial Specialist - Audit & Tax Analysis - Remote

Overview

This role is responsible for statutory financial filings including statutory audits with internal and external partners and overseeing transactional taxes’ filings to ensure local compliance for the entities in scope.

• Preparation and submission of statutory financial statements in compliance with regulations.
• Support and coordinate statutory audit lifecycle with external auditors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial reporting activities.
• Liaise with external auditors for documentation and query resolution.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and tax KPIs.
• Participate in Lean and process improvement initiatives.
• Report potential risks or control issues to the Region Controller.
• Support STAT to GAAP adjustments in Statutory HFM.
• Coordinate with tax teams for accurate data provision.
• Oversee regional transactional taxes (VAT) filings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in accounting and financial management.
• Around 5 years of working experience with 3+ years in controllership.
• Experience with SAP, FDL, HFM preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large datasets.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving attitude.
• Effective time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
