Global Manufacturing Technology Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Global Manufacturing Technology Engineer in our brand new Regional Hub / Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur, you will have the opportunity to play a role in acting as the Global Network Lead (GNL) for Supply Chain. You develop advanced manufacturing technology (with a strong focus on process definition and digitalization) both for hydraulics cylinders as well as new products in cooperation with R&D, lead implementation of key projects in the regions on their request.

In Short

• Lead Manufacturing Digital Transformation vision, planning, and support to project(s) execution.
• Develop advanced manufacturing technology, including process digitalization in cooperation with R&D and Regions.
• Lead implementation of key projects in the regions, and on request of the regions.
• Initiate global workshops sharing best practices, promoting advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Create global team with experts from each region to develop machine specification standards.
• Work with the Quality organization to develop plan on how best to integrate quality into our digital systems.
• Define/Optimize PDCA Manufacturing processes.
• Lead coordination of efforts for advanced manufacturing Smart Factory technologies.
• Evaluate near-term and long-term costs and align cost adjustments to our systems.
• Manage safe work practices and maintain safe work environment.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing.
• Direct and proven experiences in Manufacturing excellence and digital transformation.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive informed decision-making.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good written and spoken English is essential.
• Master Degree in Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree with experience.
