Legal Counsel (Web3) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join a leading web3 venture studio in Asia, responsible for developing and implementing legal & compliance policies and procedures.

In Short

• Act as the sole in-house lawyer for the company.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal contracts and agreements.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
• Identify potential legal risks and devise strategies to mitigate them.
• Investigate and respond to complaints regarding violations of rules.
• Stay updated with changes in laws impacting the company.

Requirements

• Law degree holder (LLB/ J.D.) qualified in Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions.
• 3-5 years PQE in a reputable law firm.
• Experience in advising on legal and regulatory matters.
• Solid understanding of the crypto industry.
• Commitment to team success and willingness to assist others.
• Sound judgment on business practices and stakeholder management.
• Business-driven with solution-facilitating capabilities.
• Ability to manage crises in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
