Senior Software Engineer, Windows EDR Agent (Golang) - Remote

Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing applications that communicate from customers’ Windows systems to a web portal, providing critical threat-hunting information.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain a high-performance Windows agent using Go.
• Build features for a Windows application that interfaces with low-level Windows APIs.
• Leverage knowledge of Windows internals and develop robust solutions.
• Integrate endpoint application with backend web application’s REST APIs.
• Contribute to the security and scalability of the agent.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers.
• Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with DevOps for end-to-end testing.

Requirements

• Cybersecurity experience or willingness to learn.
• 5+ years of experience writing Go code.
• 5+ years of experience with Windows internals.
• 5+ years of experience developing low-level software.
• Experience with Win32API, WMI, Powershell, and drivers is a bonus.
• Hands-on experience with Windows troubleshooting.
• Proven track record in developing software for distributed systems.
• Experience with EDR or EPP systems is a plus.
• Experience with Mac and Linux is a plus.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.
