IT Support Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a reliable, proactive IT Support Specialist to provide Level 1 and 2 support for clients, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring smooth operations.

In Short

• Deliver Level 1 and 2 support to clients via phone, remote tools, and ticketing systems
• Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, firewall config, etc.)
• Support and manage NBN connections for Australian clients
• Configure and support routers and firewalls, including setting up VPNs
• Assist with setup and support of cloud phone/VoIP systems
• Provide backup support solutions
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 tools
• Help users with printers, Windows OS issues, and general desktop support
• Perform regular backup checks and support disaster recovery processes
• Provide friendly, clear, and professional support to end-users

Requirements

• Experience in Level 1 and 2 IT support
• Proficient in troubleshooting network issues
• Knowledge of cloud services and Microsoft 365 tools
• Experience with routers and firewalls
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently as a contractor
• Experience with endpoint protection tools is a plus
