In Short

  • Act as the central point of contact for technical problems and requests escalated from 1st-level support.
  • Analyze and resolve IT issues related to enterprise software, operating systems, and networks.
  • Support users with specific enterprise software issues, including installation, configuration, and updates.
  • Maintain and update the knowledge base and create detailed solutions and guides for users.
  • Provide remote support to end-users and IT departments via phone, email, and remote tools.
  • Collaborate closely with 3rd-level support and developers to solve complex technical problems.

Requirements

  • Completed training in IT, e.g., as an IT specialist for system integration, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in 2nd-level support, ideally in an IT service company.
  • Good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems and networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of enterprise software and applications.
  • Familiarity with M365, video conferencing systems, and ticketing systems.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Customer-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously develop.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to quickly identify issues and address solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to share knowledge effectively.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide for client assignments.
  • Fluency in German at least at C1 level; English skills are a definite plus.
