Manager, Provider Contracting - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Provider Contracting initiates, negotiates, and executes physician, hospital, and/or other provider contracts and agreements while overseeing a team responsible for Direct Agreements.

• Initiates and negotiates provider contracts.
• Oversees a team of Provider Contracting Professionals.
• Analyzes financial impact of contracts and terms.
• Communicates contract terms and payment structures to providers.
• Maintains contracts and documentation within a tracking system.
• Requires cross-departmental collaboration.
• Conducts briefings and area meetings.
• Must live within Florida.
• Occasional travel to Humana's offices may be required.
• Full-time position with a 40-hour work week.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive contracting experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Proven contract preparation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience with ACO/Risk Contracting is a plus.
• Value-based contracting experience preferred.
