Bilingual Telephonic Utilization Management Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Bilingual Telephonic UM Coordinator provides non-clinical support to ensure appropriate treatment and care for members, primarily through communication with healthcare providers and administrative tasks.

In Short

• Receive calls from providers and vendors.
• Support UM Nurses with processing discharge orders.
• Document calls and requests accurately.
• Search for Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
• Process incoming fax/email requests promptly.
• Assist with various clerical tasks.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Work Monday to Friday, with potential weekend shifts.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Utilize technology for interviews and communication.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 1+ years of administrative support experience.
• 1+ years of healthcare experience.
• 1+ years of telephonic customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with medical terminology preferred.
• Familiarity with utilization review processes.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Proficient in documentation programs.
• Must pass language proficiency testing.
