Bilingual Outbound Telephonic UM Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Bilingual Outbound Telephonic UM Coordinator provides non-clinical support in ensuring appropriate treatment and care for members through outbound calls and administrative tasks.

In Short

• Provide non-clinical support for treatment policies.
• Make outbound calls to members post-authorization.
• Document calls and requests accurately.
• Process and email member letters.
• Assist with various clerical tasks as needed.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST, with 1 weekend per quarter.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Work from home with occasional travel for training.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 1+ years of administrative support experience.
• 1+ years of healthcare experience.
• 1+ years of outbound telephonic customer service experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with medical terminology and ICD-10 codes preferred.
• Member service experience is a plus.
• Experience with Utilization Review or Prior Authorization is preferred.
