Accounts Payable Professional - Remote

In Short

• Prepare, record, and verify accounts payable transactions.
• Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends.
• Prepare reports on vendor payments and aging balances.
• Ensure timely payment processing to vendors.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger to vendor statements.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Participate in internal control testing and audits.
• Assist with vendor relationship management.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Make independent decisions regarding work methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent AP experience.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to present findings to leadership.
• Experience with invoice verification and processing.
• Preferred: PMP certification.
