At Humana, you will play a critical role as a Senior Cloud Architect, Kubernetes Engineering in shaping our cloud strategy by leveraging the latest technologies and best practices.

In Short

• Lead the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing.
• Engineer new AKS and GKE capabilities supporting Humana's cloud platform infrastructure.
• Enable cost optimization opportunities and operational efficiencies related to Kubernetes clusters.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes infrastructure and deployments.
• Stay up-to-date with Kubernetes ecosystem developments.
• Perform technical planning and architecture development for cloud computing environments.
• Develop specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings.
• Assess compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards.
• Influence department’s strategy and make decisions on technical approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 or more years of technical experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Preferred: AKS Certification, GKE Certification, Cloud platform experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Prior experience with OpenShift.
