Overview

The Chief Psychiatrist oversees the behavioral health clinical program for Illinois FIDE members, collaborating with clinical services and the Chief Medical Officer to manage behavioral and physical health services.

Requirements

• Physician with an unencumbered Illinois-license, board-certified in psychiatry.
• Must reside and work in Illinois.
• 5+ years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
• Knowledge of managed care industry.
• Skills in analysis and interpretation with leadership experience in quality management.
• Familiarity with Illinois-based BH organizations is preferred.
• Experience in Medicaid Managed Care clinical leadership is preferred.
