Overview

The Regional VP, Health Services is responsible for creating and overseeing clinical strategy for the Midwest region, driving quality improvement and cost efficiency through strategic provider partnerships and data-informed decision-making.

In Short

  • Lead clinical executive responsible for the region’s clinical engagement strategy.
  • Drive quality improvement and population health outcomes.
  • Build relationships with CMOs and senior clinical leaders.
  • Implement initiatives to address total cost of care drivers.
  • Collaborate with finance and analytics for cost and quality improvements.
  • Participate in quality governance and peer review processes.
  • Partner with national teams to pilot emerging technologies.
  • Travel required 25%-30% within the region.
  • Must hold an active MD or DO license.
  • 5+ years in managed care industry experience required.

Requirements

  • Active MD or DO licensure with appropriate training and certification.
  • 5+ years clinical practice experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare utilization and quality metrics.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying complex material.
  • Strategic thinking with a track record of building successful teams.
  • Experience in both provider and payer roles preferred.
  • Prior executive level experience preferred.
  • Advanced degree in business or population health preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for training or meetings.
