Director of Offensive Security - Remote

Overview

The Director, Offensive Security designs, organizes, and oversees program and team-level activities intended to simulate threat actors and pressure test Humana’s defenses, ability to respond to adversaries, and security controls.

In Short

• Lead and develop a team of associates to deliver Cyber Threat Simulation services.
• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for Cyber Threat Simulation.
• Accountable for planning and execution of Penetration testing and Red Teaming services.
• Conduct regular product self-audits and produce metrics illustrating KPIs and KRIs.
• Recruit, lead, and mentor a specialized team of 20+ associates.
• Manage the team’s budget and provide budget forecasts.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Cyber Threat Simulation.
• Collaborate with Product Security and Threat Management teams.
• Ensure positive team culture aligned with Enterprise Information Protection’s culture.
• Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Requirements

• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Offensive Security and complex attack structures.
• Knowledge in Penetration testing, Red Teaming, and Cyber Control Testing.
• Experience with cloud security (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Familiarity with NIST, PCI, or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience managing and leading teams.
• Knowledge of security regulations and best practices.
• Experience with at least one programming language.
• OSCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field required.
