Overview

The UM Administration Coordinator 2 provides non-clinical support for ensuring best treatment and services for members, working closely with UM Nurses and various departments.

In Short

  • Support UM Nurses in processing discharge orders.
  • Document all calls and requests from healthcare providers.
  • Process incoming fax/emails requests for services daily.
  • Assist with various clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm EST with one weekend a quarter.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for documentation.
  • Must live in CST or EST states.
  • Occasional travel to Humana's offices may be required.
  • Work from home with internet speed requirements.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with Utilization Review and/or Prior Authorization.
  • 1+ years of Healthcare experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Experience with medical terminology and/or ICD-10 codes.
  • Proficient in documentation programs.
