Liquibase is hiring a highly skilled and experienced Director of Security to lead our security initiatives across both our SaaS and on-premise software business lines. You will report to the VP of Engineering and will be instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies that align with our business objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Director of Security will also oversee our Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) programs, promoting a security-first culture within the organization.

• Lead the development, implementation & enforcement of a comprehensive security strategy for SaaS and on-premise software.
• Develop, implement, and manage cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Design and implement security architecture across platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all business aspects.
• Develop and lead a high-performing security team.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats.
• Act as the primary contact for security-related inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related STEM field.
• 8+ years of experience in information security management.
• Strong knowledge of GRC frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Experience with security architecture and risk management.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud architecture and services.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication skills for conveying complex security concepts.
• Proven ability to manage global risk and reduce risk posture.
• 3+ years managing third-party risk and certification audits.
• Ability to lead crisis management.
