Overview

We’re seeking a Staff level Software Engineer to join a high-impact mission within the Sales Execution Product Group at HubSpot. Sales Execution is dedicated to providing a top of the line experience for sales reps and leaders. We are helping our customers’ sales teams in growing their businesses by providing tools, automation and insights.

In Short

• This engineer will join the Forecasting Backend Team, the backbone of experience that empowers Sales leaders to understand their business performance.
• Build solutions leveraging diverse datasets, designing scalable BE systems, and integrating Machine Learning solutions.
• Deliver high-value, high-impact, cross-team projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of ML Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Stay hands-on in all technical aspects while leading by example.
• Provide strategic direction for major projects.
• Mentor and teach engineers in their areas of expertise.

Requirements

• Long track record of experience in software engineering.
• Experience with Java, Kafka, HBase, Vitess, Snowflake, Spark, and Dropwizard.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on coding experience.
• History of developing impactful solutions.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Enthusiasm for building scalable systems.
