Overview

The Help Desk Associate is responsible for providing day-to-day helpdesk response and support of the organization's computer network infrastructure, as well as admin functions for the organization's information management system client database (Caseworthy).

In Short

  • Provide desktop and remote technical support.
  • Install, configure, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware.
  • Perform hardware/software inventory and software license tracking.
  • Assist in training staff in the use of PCs and basic network operations.
  • Follow directions and complete tasks independently.
  • Create documentation on procedures for technical tasks.
  • Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience with workstation support.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft and TCP/IP networking.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Reports to Help Desk Manager.

Requirements

  • 1 year experience in troubleshooting client-side networking issues.
  • Experience in customer-service oriented support teams.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
  • A+ and Net + Certified preferred.
  • Strong MS Outlook and MS Office skills.
