Overview

As an Engineering Manager on the Mood Boards and Communications team at Houzz, you’ll lead a small but talented group of full stack engineers building the creative tools that designers and homeowners use to plan and visualize their dream spaces.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React) and backend development.
• Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects and deliver high-quality software.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design.
• A track record of mentoring or managing other engineers.
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
