Senior Backend Engineer - API (100% Remote)

Overview

Our Hopper Technology Solutions group is seeking a Backend Software Engineer. This role involves developing a public API to enable our partners to build a world-class travel portal for their users.

In Short

• Design, build and operate a public API
• Operate autonomously while collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers
• Explore engineering improvements for the team and the product

Requirements

• A natural drive to dive into unknown code bases
• Strong product thinking focused on customer quality
• Experience building, maintaining, and operating a public API
• Experience or willingness to learn distributed system development in Scala
