IT Operations Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

The IT Operations Automation Engineer is a technical solutions expert responsible for developing, facilitating, and overseeing automation for Hopper IT. This role requires a "first-principles" thinker who can deconstruct technical challenges into their base elements and rebuild them with automated logic to drive operational maturity.

In Short

• Build and maintain critical automation platforms, such as an Automation Service Gateway.
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation and develop new processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to replace manual workflows with scalable systems.
• Provide Tier 2 and 3 support and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience developing scripts in Python, Terraform, or Bash.
• Solid understanding of GCP, Okta, and Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of professional best practices for the full SDLC.
