• Cube is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team.
• Looking for a senior engineer who thrives in complex systems.
• Meaningful ownership and influence across the team and product.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• 6+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Django Core and Django REST Framework.
• Deep experience with relational databases at scale.
• Strong comfort operating in AWS.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience, with Python and Django.
• Expert knowledge of Django Core and REST Framework.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Experience in AWS services like RDS and S3.
• Experience working in large, existing codebases.
• Proven track record of delivering performant systems.
• Exceptional communication skills for technical decisions.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
