Overview

As a Foreclosure Specialist at Hometap, you will be part of a dedicated team that supports homeowners through the complexities of default servicing and ensures timely and accurate management of investments.

In Short

• Function as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) with Homeowners during default events.
• Handle outbound and inbound communications with Homeowners.
• Review property status reports and manage default events.
• Conduct due diligence on default events and legal documents.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Legal team as needed.
• Ensure all tasks are completed within set timeframes.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Provide exceptional client service.
• Help make homeownership less stressful and more accessible.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing or default servicing.
• Ability to read and understand mortgage and default documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and client service orientation.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
