Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Accountant will own the timely recording of all financial transactions and the production of monthly GAAP-compliant financial statements in a fast-growing SaaS company.

In Short

• Own the monthly close process and ensure accurate revenue recording.
• Research accounting issues for compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and develop SOPs.
• Partner with business units for financial accountability.
• Assist with NetSuite implementation.
• Lead Accounts Receivable operations and resolve billing inquiries.
• Support corporate income tax compliance and audit readiness.
• Prepare and file annual 1099 reports.
• 4+ years of corporate accounting experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Requirements

• Sound understanding of US GAAP and month-end processes.
• Experience with US Sales & Use tax compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ERP software (Netsuite preferred).
• Experience with Revenue Recognition and Inventory accounting.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience working with start-ups is a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
• Experience using AI tools in finance/accounting is a plus.
