Accountant - Remote

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and ensures financial accuracy across our operations. Your expertise will help us maintain compliance, streamline processes, and provide insights that drive smarter business decisions. In Short

• Process vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
• Verify invoiced details and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Maintain vendor records and handle inquiries professionally.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding items.
• Assist with month-end AP closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Post journal entries and support monthly closing processes.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in preparing reports for internal and external audits.
• Support the Finance team with ad-hoc GL tasks and process improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Knowledge of German GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite is a plus) and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
