Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are urgently hiring an experienced accountant to join our team in Denova and provide accounting services to one of our clients.

As an Accountant, you will support client’s global finance operations in a remote-first environment, with primary responsibility for month-end close activities while collaborating closely with teams in the US and UK. You play a key role in cash reconciliations, rewards accounting, accruals and operational workflows as the accounting function continues to scale.

In Short

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Own end-to-end accounting for areas such as rewards accounting and cash.
• Prepare and record journal entries in compliance with GAAP.
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A and other teams.
• Assist with operational accounting needs and compliance requirements.
• Support external audits and internal controls compliance.
• Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a global company.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Hands-on experience with Workday ERP (Finance module).
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Exposure to SOX and maintaining audit support.
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliations).
• Experience supporting month-end close and reconciliations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
