Field Service Technician/Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician/Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing technical field assignments related to high voltage equipment, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

In Short

• Execute complex assignments involving high voltage equipment up to 800kV.
• Deliver installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade services.
• Anticipate and exceed customer expectations with proactive support.
• Identify and resolve electrical or mechanical issues independently.
• Spot and develop new sales and business opportunities.
• Suggest product and process enhancements for improved operations.
• Manage field service projects and provide insightful analysis.
• Conduct tests, compile data, and resolve operational issues.
• Willingness to travel (80%) across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Trade education and experience in Industrial Mechanic and Electrical fields.
• 5+ years of experience in technical field service work.
• Hands-on knowledge of high voltage equipment up to 800kV.
• Proficiency in electrical testing and circuit breaker maintenance.
• Experience working with Power Utilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Proficient in MS Office and test equipment software.
