Field Service Engineer / Field Support Technician - Remote

Overview

A Field Service Engineer / Field Support Technician is required to fault-find hardware and software applications, break-fix hardware devices, and possess excellent client-facing skills for a well-established company in the Retail and Hospitality Industry.

In Short

• Conduct daily visits to client locations for break-fix, installation, refurbishment, and maintenance of EPoS equipment.
• Travel to client sites to provide on-site equipment swap-out services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical, hardware, or software issues during site visits.
• Document troubleshooting steps and actions signed off by the client.
• Provide excellent client interaction and support.
• Work in a full-time, permanent role with 13-hour shifts on a 3 days on, 3 days off rota.
• Receive a company van equipped with modern amenities for site visits.
• Receive training in EPoS systems if needed.
• Must have a Full UK Manual Driver’s License.
• UK-wide travel and overnight stays may be required.

Requirements

• Experience in IT Technical Support, Electronic Equipment Installation, Telecoms, or similar environments.
• Ability to identify and fix hardware and software issues.
• Excellent client-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
• Full UK Manual Driver’s License is essential.
