Senior Software Engineer, Customer Platform - Remote

In Short

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable and performant full-stack solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
• Participate in product discovery sessions to assess feasibility and define product features.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers for intuitive user interfaces.
• Contribute to the vision for the team and the platform.
• Implement observability practices across the platform.
• Analyze performance metrics and user feedback for improvements.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Stay updated with industry trends and propose innovative solutions.
• Assist with hiring and onboarding new engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years as a software engineer, shipping production code.
• 3+ years of experience with back-end distributed system design.
• 3+ years of experience with microservice architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in building scalable web applications and services.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Redis, Kotlin).
• Experience with hosting on Kubernetes and AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience with agile software development methodology.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
