Overview

The Operations Manager, Compounding, is a vital role within Hims & Hers, responsible for leading a team of compounding professionals and overseeing daily operations in a regulated environment, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

In Short

• Plan and oversee daily production schedules.
• Lead and supervise a team of lab managers and pharmacy technicians.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize compounding processes.
• Monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with USP, FDA, and OSHA regulations.
• Manage inventory and materials for compounding.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.
• Perform additional duties as needed for departmental support.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical compounding or related fields.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a regulated setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Experience with sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures.
