Business Affairs Consultant - Remote

Overview

The Business Affairs Consultant will support the Creative Production team at Hims & Hers, providing expertise in legal and clearance issues related to content creation.

In Short

• Provide temporary services as an Independent Contractor.
• Support producers in content creation.
• Review creative for clearance or licensing issues.
• Prepare casting specifications for productions.
• Advise on union rules and regulations.
• Negotiate and license third-party rights.
• Conduct preliminary trademark searches.
• Implement NDAs with production partners.
• Prepare contracts related to production.
• Track usage rights for all projects.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Business Affairs and/or Production experience.
• Thorough understanding of broadcast production.
• Strong knowledge of copyright and trademark law.
• Expertise in contracting talent.
• Experience managing multiple projects.
• Familiarity with legal clearance issues.
• Working knowledge of contract management platforms.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate with vendors.
• Problem-solving attitude.
