Overview

The Transport Services Associate is responsible for transporting patients, medical records, mail, specimens, and equipment throughout the facility, ensuring a smooth operation within the hospital.

In Short

• Transport inpatients and outpatients within the facility.
• Deliver equipment/materials and specimens to requesting departments.
• Serve as a hospital ambassador providing information and direction to patients and visitors.
• Ensure transportation equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external departments.
• Possess strong organizational skills.
• Preferred CPR certification.
• Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED.
