Overview

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) conducts treatment programs under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, collaborating with patients and the healthcare team to ensure effective care.

Requirements

  • Minimum licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Pennsylvania.
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Act 34, 33, and 73 background clearance certifications.
  • Current state driver's license preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and practices.
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training.
