Paramedic (Casual) - Contract - Remote

Overview

The Paramedic is responsible for providing emergency medical care to sick and injured patients in a prehospital environment, ensuring effective communication with all relevant departments.

In Short

• Drive emergency response vehicles.
• Assess and provide basic and advanced life support.
• Complete documentation per regulatory standards.
• Maintain equipment and inventory of medical supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid Paramedic certification.
• Compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Must pass background checks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Paramedic certification or licensed PHRN.
• Valid Driver's License.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• PALS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ITLS/PHTLS certification within 2 months of hire.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association.
• Background checks including Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73.
• Preferred knowledge in Haz-Mat and vehicle rescue.
• One year of experience with AHN EMS preferred.
