Overview

The National & Key Accounts Service Executive is responsible for servicing and expanding business within existing accounts, supporting brokers and consultants, and developing strategies for sales retention.

  • Developing sales retention strategies.
  • Meeting retention, persistency, and profitability goals.
  • Providing account service and troubleshooting support.
  • Conducting annual rate and contract renewal activities.
  • Preparing for and coordinating open enrollment activities.
  • Analyzing competitor networks and developing strategies against them.
  • Coordinating with internal UCD personnel for support.
  • Adhering to ethical and legal standards of conduct.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 7 - 10 years of sales or account experience in the insurance industry.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience with MS Office software.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned area.
  • Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact with senior level executives.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in employee benefits industry preferred.
