Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Remote

Overview

This position is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible employees. The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides emergency medical care to sick and injured patients in both prehospital and hospital environments, effectively communicating with all parties involved in the administration of emergency medical care.

In Short

• Drives emergency vehicle.
• Determines nature and extent of illness or injury.
• Provides basic life support and transports critically ill and injured patients.
• Completes required documentation according to regulatory standards.
• Maintains equipment and inventory of supplies.
• Accountable for medications on every EMS unit.
• Performs other assigned duties as required.
• Minimum High school diploma or GED required.
• PA EMT certification and valid driver’s license needed.
• Preferred six months’ experience in prehospital care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months related experience and/or training.
• PA EMT certification EMSVO within 30 days of hire.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CPR certification – American Heart Association.
• Act 34, 33, and 73 Criminal Background Clearance Certificates.
• Preferred certifications: ITLS/PHTLS, ABLS, ASLS.
