The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department at Allegheny General Hospital is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

• Work as part of a dedicated team in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Responsible for a designated patient population.

• Must have current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure.
• One year of recent Emergency nursing experience preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum Act 34, 33, and 73 clearances.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year of recent Emergency or CDU nursing experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to provide patient education based on individual needs.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to ethical and legal standards in healthcare.
• Ability to manage patient care delivery effectively.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and data security guidelines.
