Sr. Director, Legal - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Director, Legal will focus on U.S. securities and corporate law matters, overseeing corporate governance and compliance while supporting business enablement within HighLevel.

In Short

• Develop corporate governance function aligned with corporate strategy.
• Create and maintain board and committee calendars.
• Lead coordination of board materials for executive readiness.
• Serve as Assistant Corporate Secretary, ensuring governance integrity.
• Plan and execute stockholder and governance meetings.
• Oversee integrity of corporate records.
• Draft and file SEC filings in collaboration with other functions.
• Develop and maintain CSR/ESG programs.
• Manage compliance processes including insider trading policies.
• Monitor regulatory developments in governance and cybersecurity.

Requirements

• J.D. from accredited law school with active bar membership.
• 15+ years of experience in corporate and securities law.
• In-depth knowledge of SEC regulations and corporate governance standards.
• Excellent business partnering and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in high-volume workload environments.
• Ability to operate at multiple levels to achieve business impact.
• Commitment to producing accurate work in a timely manner.
• Experience working on a cross-functional legal team.
